We Believe

Children need a safe, clean, positive and disciplined environment in which they feel valued and successful. High expectations that promote decision-making and critical thinking skills relate to high achievement and a lifetime of learning. All children are capable of learning when instruction is data-driven, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. Parents and community members should be informed, involved, and welcomed in the school. The commitment to continuous professional development is imperative if our school is going to engage students to become confident, self-directed, literate life-long learners.

School Motto

Give Respect. Guide Others. Grow Leaders.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of Sycamore School to educate and nurture all students to be responsible, independent, literate life-long learners.

Online Student Registration/Data Validation System
The Talladega County School District is excited to announce an online student registration/data validation system for the 2018-19 school year. The system is a secure process, which allows the district to verify all student demographics, emergency and medical information for your child prior to the start of the new school year. This online process replaces all the hard copy student registration/permission forms that your child brings home on the first day of school. Please be on the look-out for more information in July!
